First Quarter Joint Consultative Workshop with Workers’ Representatives

The Health Service Commission (HSC) and the Public Service Commission (PSC) have officially commenced the First Quarter Joint Consultative Workshop with Workers’ Representatives in Kwekwe. The workshop brings together representatives from both commissions and workers’ unions to deliberate on key issues affecting the public service, with a strong focus on improving working conditions, strengthening collaboration, and enhancing the overall effectiveness of service delivery.

The consultative engagement serves as an important platform for dialogue between management and workers’ representatives, allowing both parties to openly share perspectives, address concerns, and collectively explore solutions that support the smooth functioning of public institutions. Through such engagements, the commissions reaffirm their commitment to inclusive decision-making and fostering a culture of mutual respect within the public service.

The workshop also aims to strengthen social dialogue by promoting transparency, accountability, and constructive engagement among stakeholders. By creating an environment where workers’ representatives can actively contribute to discussions, the commissions are ensuring that policies and operational decisions are informed by the experiences and insights of those on the ground.

Ultimately, the First Quarter Joint Consultative Workshop underscores the shared commitment of the Health Service Commission and the Public Service Commission to promote workplace harmony, strengthen labour relations, and enhance the quality and efficiency of service delivery to the people of Zimbabwe.
