The Department is headed by General Manager Human Resources Ms N. N Zhou.
The department's key responsibility areas include:
Develop, implement and maintain sound Human Resources for Health (HRH), policies, plans and procedures for the Health Service.
Establish and maintain a reliable computerized database for members in the Health Service.
Establish management systems, processes and procedures for training and staff development programs.
Manage an effective administration of disciplinary procedures in line with the Health Service Regulations.
Management of human resources to reduce overall vacancy levels of critical health staff.
To operationalize usage of the Human Resources for Health Procedure Manual.
To manage the recruitment process for the Health Sector.
To manage salaries and allowances for health workers.
To facilitate effective career mobility of HRH.
To ensure adherence to disciplinary procedures.
