- The department is headed by General Manager Mr E. Chizema.
- The department's key responsibility areas include:
- Provide financial advice and implement financial policies in terms of the International Accounting Standard (IAS).
- Ensure the smooth running of the Commission’s business through the provision of appropriate logistical support.
- Establish an effective internal control system that promptly responds to both Internal and External audit queries and observations.
- Ensure the establishment, development and implementation of an effective procurement and stores system.
- Prepare annual final Statements and Management Accounts in accordance with Internal Financial Reporting System (IFRS).
- Monitors deadlines and procedures for the preparation of the Annual Budget.
