- The Department is headed by General Manager Human Resources Ms N. N Zhou.
 - The department's key responsibility areas include:
 - Develop, implement and maintain sound Human Resources for Health (HRH), policies, plans and procedures for the Health Service.
 - Establish and maintain a reliable computerized database for members in the Health Service.
 - Establish management systems, processes and procedures for training and staff development programs.
 - Manage an effective administration of disciplinary procedures in line with the Health Service Regulations.
 - Management of human resources to reduce overall vacancy levels of critical health staff.
 - To operationalize usage of the Human Resources for Health Procedure Manual.
 - To manage the recruitment process for the Health Sector.
 - To manage salaries and allowances for health workers.
 - To facilitate effective career mobility of HRH.
 - To ensure adherence to disciplinary procedures.
