Participants at the Joint Consultative Workshop with Workers’ Representatives took time away from the workshop programme to visit Mutemwa Leprosy Catholic Care Centre, where they spent time interacting with residents, touring the facility, meeting local church and community leaders.
As part of the visit, the delegation donated a range of essential items, including tonnes of rice, cash, clothing, groceries, and other supplies, in support of the centre’s ongoing work of caring for vulnerable members of the community.
The visit reflected the spirit of compassion, solidarity, and social responsibility, demonstrating that meaningful workplace engagement extends beyond the boardroom to making a positive impact in the lives of others
