The Minister of Health and Child Care Hon. Dr. Douglas Mombeshora officiated the National Public Health Institute (NPHI) Inception Meeting in Bulawayo. He was joined by Health Service Commission Secretary Dr. Christopher Pasi and key partners that include Africa CDC, WHO, EU TEI, and the World Bank.

The meeting seeks to establish a shared vision and roadmap for the Zimbabwe NPHI, focusing on its purpose, structure, governance, workplan, resource mobilization, and regional learning priorities all aligned with the Africa CDC’s New Public Health Order.

Together, stakeholders are laying the foundation for a stronger, coordinated, and resilient public health system for Zimbabwe.
