The Health Service Commission (HSC) held its second Quality Management Review meeting with the objective to assess the performance of the organisation’s quality management system as part of preparations for the first assessment for ISO certification which will be done before the end of 2023.
Acting Secretary Mr Angelbert Mbengwa said he was happy with progress that has been made in an effort to attain ISO Certification. He emphasized the need for continual improvement on service delivery.
“I am happy with the progress that we have made so far and I urge you to remain focused on providing high quality service to our clients and stakeholders and strive to improve and exceed expectation”, he said
The meeting covered the status of issues from the previous meeting held in March 2023, evaluation of the adequacy of resources, assessment of risks, QMS awareness, review of internal audit, performance of external stakeholders and identification of opportunities for improvement.
